Join FoodSpark for its November potluck during CULTURE/SHIFT, the national convening on community arts, cultural policy, & social justice.
During this dinner gathering, guests will learn about FoodSpark and understand how food can be used as a tool to organize communities, engage critical conversations about the social justice topics of our time, as well as spark new ideas and ways of approaching community challenges. Attendees will also leave this dinner equipped with tools to host their own FoodSpark convening.
ABOUT CULTURE/SHIFT 2016
CULTURE/SHIFT brings together some of the nation’s most creative thinkers and practitioners. It is anchored by RAC’s Community Arts Training (CAT) Institute (the longest-running sustained training program of its kind in the country) and connected nationally through the USDAC’s growing action network As with all things USDAC, this gathering will take place in a spirit of serious play. As with all things CAT Institute, this gathering will be inclusive.
