FoodSpark #14: Intersectionality: Pride, Identity, and Health

  • Rustin's Place 1114 North Sarah Street St. Louis, MO, 63113 (map)
pride, identity and health

This month, FoodSpark is teaming up with Williams and Associates, Inc. (Minority Health STL) as we take on the intersectionality of sexual identity and health. You can be sure to expect an awesome time, including:

  • fun, sexual COOKIES to ice
  • a PHOTO/VIDEO BOOTH where you can share stories
  • a GROUP DISCUSSION about individual and collective identities and how these expressions relate to and impact our own health

This Month's Culinary Theme: Your Identity

Bring a DISH to share that represents (one of) your identity/ies. We also encourage you to bring your own STORY about what identity and health look like for you.

The mission of Williams and Associates, Inc. is to provide preventive health education, disease prevention, health promotion and care services that address the health disparities of minorities in the St. Louis Bi-State Region, with particular regard to African Americans. Learn more at
